As part of an official visit to Kazakhstan, Françoise Joly, Personal Representative of the President of the Republic of the Congo for Strategic Affairs and International Negotiations, with the rank of Minister, led a Congolese delegation to Astana IT University.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the Republic of the Congo and the university in artificial intelligence (AI), higher education, information technologies and research.
Discussions explored opportunities to develop AI and IT programs, promote joint research and encourage participation in international projects. The delegation also met with the university’s leadership and visited its research centers and technological infrastructure.
The visit forms part of efforts to expand Congo–Kazakhstan cooperation in AI, strategic technologies, education and innovation, while strengthening the skills and institutional capabilities needed to support Congo’s digital transformation.
